TRU-SPEC has rolled out a new line of nylon-constructed backpacks designed for law enforcement, and they’re making their debut at this year’s SHOT Show.
The Trek Sling Pack features multiple compartments for storing firearms, including three concealed pockets for pistols and magazine sleeves in the interior of the pack, as well as a spot for a tablet device in the backpack’s main compartment. A holster can also be attached to the pack.
The company’s Elite 3Day Backpack features a concealed zipper pocket with an opening for hydration or earphone pass-through. The pack is padded with air mesh in the back panel and the shoulder straps for added comfort and ventilation. A rainfly stows at the bottom. A rigid board is included in the back to increase stability.
The Pathfinder 2.5 can hold a 15 or 17 inch laptop in two different-sized compartments, a pair of sunglasses in a fleece-lined zipper pouch, and office supplies in an organizer panel. Like the Elite 3Day, the Pathfinder includes a concealed zipper pocket with an opening for hydration or earphone pass-through and air mesh padding in the back panel and shoulder straps. The bag can hold 2.5 liters of water and opens completely for easier packing.
TRU-SPEC’s Stealth Backpack includes a hidden pistol pocket and a loop for holster attachment. For electronics, the pack features a storage space designed for a tablet and a spot for headphones, including a cord pass-through channel. You can store your sunglasses in a fleece zipper pouch. This bag also includes the concealed zipper pocket with a pass-through opening and air mesh padding found in the Pathfinder 2.5 and Elite 3Day packs.
