With the threat index increasing every day, it’s important that your spouse or significant other also undergo some training and start carrying whenever possible as discretely as possible.
I am a big fan of Crossbreed SuperTuck holsters, but like most IWB holsters, they have huge clips that fit over your gun belt to hold the holster firmly in place.
What if you aren’t wearing a gun belt, you want to put your gun safely in your purse, or you need to be super discreet? UltiClip thinks they have the solution.
Ulticlip is unlike any traditional holster or magazine holder clip I’ve ever seen. It is a pressure-based device that you slip over almost anything up to 1/4 of an inch thick (approximately seven layers of denim material) and then click to close. Once clipped into place it can support up to 70 pounds – probably more than you want to carry anyway.
Ulticlip can be retrofitted onto many holsters or magazine carriers and some manufacturers, such as Crossbreek and Remora, are starting to ship holsters that use it as original equipment. The dual mounting bracket is now available while a newer three-hole version will ship by the end of February. These 100% American-made clips are available from selected retailers and from their website for around $9.99 per clip.
